Raised by the East Malling Research Station in Kent in 1966 as a cross between Cox's Orange Pippin and Starking. The fruits are
medium in size and round conical in shape. The skin is a golden yellow with long stripes of red on top, often merging to resemble a flush of colour. The flesh inside is creamy white in colour, juicy
and sweet, highly flavoured and aromatic.
