Grown in France by G. Delbard of Allier (Auvergne) in 1956, as a cross between Golden Delicious and Stark Jonagrimes. Also known as Delcorf and Delbarestival.
A beautiful apple with the appearance of handpainted red stripes over a yellow background.
Inside is a crisp creamy flesh with a mixture of flavours, a honey-like sweetness with a hint of aniseed.
