Introduced to the world in 1966, an orphan of unknown parentage. Raised by Mr Chivers, of Chivers Farm, Histon, Cambridgeshire.
The medium sized fruits are round and slightly flat, with a hint of ribs. The skin is a yellowy- green, splashed with orange/red, and painted with tiny broken stripes. Inside is a creamy white flesh, firm and juicy, with a hint of honey.
